The Ogri’la are a faction of Ogres based at their camp of the same name in Western Blade’s Edge Mountains in Outland. Both the Horde and Alliance are able to gain reputation with this unique faction.
Encountering the Ogri’la
Unlike other factions, a player cannot just become neutral with the Ogri’la by interacting with a faction NPC, a rather long quest chain must be completed first. Most of the quests in this chain are in Blade’s Edge Mountains and do involve a number of group quests, the group quests can easily be completed solo by a level 80 player. Once the chain has been completed, the player can visit Ogri’la in western Blade’s Edge Mountains where normal quests and dailies will soon become available.
Quests for Ogri’la
Once a player can visit Ogri’la there will be a couple of normal quests available and one daily. The daily is ‘The Relic’s Emanations’ and will require Apexis Shards. Most of the events associated with Ogri’la require these shards which can be found on creatures surrounding Ogri’la, and they are also given as quest rewards. ‘The Relic’s Emanation’ daily grants 250 reputation with Ogri’la. Once a player’s reputation rises to honoured another daily will become available. This will involve killing demons in one of the forge camps located near Ogri’la.
Ogri’la and Sha’tari Skyguard
While a player is at the Ogri’la camp they will notice a small camp nearby which belongs to the Sha’tari Skyguard, here there will be two quests available which once completed become dailies. If a player completes these two dailies, they gain reputation with both theSha’tari Skyguard and Ogri’la so are definitely worth completing. Even if a player is already exalted with the Sha’tari Skyguard, they can still complete these two easy dailies for the reputation granted with Ogri’la.
Exalted Reputation with Ogri’la
By doing the four available dailies in Blade’s Edge Mountains it will take some time for the player to become exalted, but these are quick and easy dailies, which give gold and sellable items. Once a player does become exalted they gain the achievement ‘A Quest a Day Keeps the Ogres at Bay’ and are able to purchase a tabard from the quartermaster at the camp. The dailies grant between 250 and 500 reputation each.
Although the rewards seem meagre for what is quite a long reputation grind, most players complete this faction when they are aiming for 35 or 40 exalted reputations. It is worth doing as the dailies can all be done in half an hour and the player is free to then do other objectives.
